Connect HomeKit accessory

Open the connection area

Choose the path for your platform. On web, select Integrations. On phone, go to Settings, then Integrations. Open HomeKit accessory and read its availability and limits before you continue.

Connect the accessory

Enter the setup code in the connection form. Use only the eight-digit code printed on the accessory or shown in its app. Then choose Connect and follow only a further pairing prompt that is actually shown for that accessory.

1. Enter the Setup code in the connection form. It is required and sensitive.
2. Choose Connect.Connect
3. If another pairing prompt appears for that accessory, follow it exactly.

After the connection

After ALYT confirms the connection, review the discovered items. If the list needs updating, use Look for accessories when it is offered. Open the corresponding device to check its reported state. Connection success alone does not mean the accessory has carried out a command.

Limits and recovery

• A hosted account alone cannot discover accessories on a private home network.
• If an accessory is already paired elsewhere, consult its own pairing instructions before changing that pairing.
• Read any on-screen error carefully, correct the field or network it identifies, and try again.
• Do not create duplicate connections to investigate an unclear result.
• To remove the connection, choose Disconnect, read the consequence, and confirm the named Disconnect action. Keep it cancels without removing anything.
