Connect Ring

Start the connection

Open Ring from the home’s Integrations area and read the availability and limits shown there before you continue. On web, use Integrations. On iOS and Android, go to Settings, then Integrations. Follow the availability shown for this home.

1. Enter your Ring account email.
2. Enter your Ring account password in the connection form only. The password is used for sign-in and is not retained.
3. Choose Connect.Connect

If Ring asks for verification

Some connections require a second step after sign-in. If Ring asks for a verification code, use the code sent by text or email.

1. Enter the verification code.
2. Choose Continue.Continue

After the connection completes

After ALYT confirms the connection, review the discovered items. If Look for Ring devices is offered, use it to refresh the list. Open the matching device to check its reported state. A successful connection does not mean any device has already carried out a command.

Limits and troubleshooting

• Ring needs internet.
• Open each discovered camera to see the live view and any talk or other controls that are actually offered for it.
• Available camera features differ by camera and by surface.
• If you see an error, read the specific on-screen message and correct the fields or network it identifies.
• Do not create duplicate connections to investigate an unclear result.
• To remove the connection, choose Disconnect, read the consequence, and confirm the named Disconnect action. Keep it cancels without removing anything.
• Keep passwords, tokens, and keys in the trusted connection form; do not include them in a support message.
