Connect Spotify

Use the platform entry point for your home, then complete the sign-in on Spotify’s own page. Do not enter a Spotify password in an ALYT connection field.

1. Web: open Integrations, then choose Spotify.Integrations
2. Phone: open Settings, then Integrations, then choose Spotify.Integrations
3. Choose Sign in to Spotify.Sign in to Spotify
4. Sign in and allow ALYT on Spotify’s own page, then return to ALYT.

After you connect

After ALYT confirms the connection, review the discovered items. Use Read the library again only when it is offered to refresh the list.

Connection success alone does not mean a device has carried out a command.

Limits and troubleshooting

• ALYT reads playlists, liked songs, and followed artists.
• Open the library browses without starting playback.
• Sonos playback uses the Spotify account connected in Sonos.
• Reconnect when authorization expires.
• If Spotify refuses a restricted development-mode account, ask ALYT support about access.
• Disconnecting ALYT forgets its library here; Spotify keeps ALYT allowed until you remove that authorization in Spotify.

If an error appears, read the specific on-screen error. Correct the fields or network it identifies and try again. Do not create duplicate connections to investigate an unclear result.

To remove the connection, choose Disconnect, read the consequence, and confirm the named Disconnect action. Keep it cancels without removing anything.
