Connect WiZ

Before you connect

Start in the correct home. On web, open Integrations. On phone, go to Settings, then Integrations. Open WiZ and confirm whether this home offers connection and what limits apply. If the home does not offer connection, use Support.

Set up WiZ

1. Make sure the WiZ lights are powered on and reachable on the same local network used by ALYT.
2. Choose Connect and look and wait for discovery.Connect and look

There are no account or password fields for this connection.

After connection

After ALYT confirms the connection, review the discovered items. If a refresh is offered, use Look for lights to update the list.

1. Open the corresponding device to check its reported state.
2. Remember that a successful connection does not mean a device has carried out a command.

Limits and recovery

• WiZ uses the local network.
• A hosted account alone does not make private Wi-Fi lights reachable.
• If you see an error, read the specific on-screen message, correct the network or field it identifies, and try again.
• Do not create duplicate connections to investigate an unclear result.
• To remove the connection, choose Disconnect, read the consequence, and confirm the named Disconnect action. Keep it cancels without removing anything.
