What you can do now
Google TV is Coming. It cannot be set up for homeowner use yet, and no release date is announced here. For now, continue using your existing web and phone controls. Support can help with the home you already have.
- Open Integrations and check the Google TV tile for current availability.
- If you are reviewing TV-related options on web or phone, go to Settings, then TV. TV settings are separate from car settings.
The planned TV app names Dashboard, Home, Devices, Media, Music, Cameras and Settings. These names describe the Coming app only. They do not mean homeowner setup, playback, cameras, device controls, or dashboard use are available yet.
What you should see afterwards
- The Google TV tile still shows its current availability.
- Your existing home web and phone controls continue to work as they do now.
- If TV settings are available in your home, they remain in Settings, then TV on web and phone.
If something is unclear
If Google TV still appears as Coming, that is expected. This guide does not include setup, dashboard, remote control, or recovery instructions because those homeowner steps are not available yet.
