Connect Sonos

WebiPhoneAndroid

Connect Sonos from your home’s Integrations area, then follow the connection path that your home offers. The available path depends on whether the home uses Self-hosted or Hosted ALYT, so use the availability and limits shown in Sonos before you continue.

Connect Sonos

  1. Open Sonos in your home’s Integrations area and confirm which connection path is offered for this home.Integrations
  2. If the home is Self-hosted, choose Connect and look to discover speakers reachable on the home network.Connect and look
  3. If the home is Hosted ALYT, choose Sign in to Sonos, authorize the correct account, return to ALYT, and choose the Sonos household in the connected instance to finish.Sign in to Sonos
  4. Assign the discovered speakers to their rooms.

Use only the path offered for this home. Do not try to force a different connection method.

What you should see afterwards

After ALYT confirms the connection, the discovered items should appear for review. You can use Look for speakers to refresh the list when that control is offered. Open the matching device, or Media for a music library, to check its reported state. A successful connection does not mean a device has already carried out a command.

Hosted Sonos supports playback controls, but it does not expose every local library or queue feature.

Troubleshooting and limits

  • Read the specific on-screen error and correct the field or network it identifies, then try again.
  • Do not create duplicate connections to investigate an unclear result.
  • If the Sonos household selection is incomplete, finish that selection before discovery.
  • If you need to remove the connection, choose Disconnect, read the consequence, and confirm the named Disconnect action. Keep it cancels without removing anything.
  • Keep passwords, tokens, and keys in the trusted connection form; do not include them in a support message.
