Connect GE Cync

Before you connect

Open GE Cync and check its availability and limits for this home. Follow the availability shown there. Do not continue if the connection is not offered for your home.

1. Web: choose Integrations. Phone: choose Settings, then Integrations.Integrations
2. Open GE Cync and read its availability and limits.
3. If the connection is managed by a partner, use Support.

Connect GE Cync

Enter the account details first. ALYT asks for the emailed code only after that first step.

1. Enter Cync account email and Cync account password, then choose Connect.Connect
2. After ALYT asks for it, enter the code from Cync and choose Continue.Continue

• Cync account email is required.
• Cync account password is required and sensitive. Enter it only in the connection form.

After connection

After ALYT confirms the connection, review the discovered items. If the list needs updating and the option is offered, choose Look for Cync devices to refresh it.

3. Open the corresponding device to check its reported state.

If something goes wrong

Read the specific on-screen error before retrying. Use the code sent for the current sign-in attempt, and do not create duplicate connections to investigate an unclear result.

• If a field is wrong, correct it and try again.
• If the network or internet connection is the issue, fix that first and retry.
• If you want to remove the connection later, choose Disconnect, read the consequence, and confirm the named Disconnect action. Keep it cancels without removing anything.
