Connect Zigbee

Before you connect

Choose the correct home before you start. On web, open Integrations. On phone, go to Settings, then Integrations. Open Zigbee and check its availability and limits before you continue.

Zigbee is built into the supported hub. Use the existing integration, not another account login.

Add Zigbee devices

1. Open Zigbee, then choose Let devices join. The join window lasts two minutes.Let devices join
2. Select What are you adding? and choose the exact brand and model shown for your device.
3. Follow the pairing steps shown for that model. Watch for Joining now while the device connects.
4. Give the device its Room, then choose Done.

After pairing

Open the new device to check its reported state. A device that appears in the joining panel is not fully finished until it has a room and you choose Done.

If the device was already paired to another hub, it may need a reset and that reset can remove the old pairing. Use only the model-specific instructions shown for that device. If you are pairing a lock, keep a door open while you follow its instructions.

Remove Zigbee devices

If you need to remove remembered devices, use Forget its devices. This removes the devices’ pairing and may mean you will need to pair them again. The hub radio itself stays part of the hub.

1. Open Zigbee and review the number of devices that will be forgotten.
2. Choose Forget its devices only if you intend to pair those devices again.Forget its devices

If nothing joins

Check that the device is in the exact model’s pairing mode and that the two-minute joining window is still open. Use the model-specific instructions in ALYT, not a generic reset sequence from another brand.
