Privacy, explained clearly.

• Local control. Clear AI choices.

  Wake-word detection stays on every hub. Hub and Hub Music use cloud Simone; Hub AI runs its model locally. Cloud AI requires household authorization, while connected services may use the internet on any model.

• Words are stored only if you say so

  Every turn keeps metadata. The transcript is kept only when the household turns it on, and the switch is checked before anything is written.

• Delete means delete

  Any voice turn or all of them, hard-deleted on request. Everything is swept after 90 days.

• See where voice processing happens

  The voice page shows processing information for recorded turns, including the share answered locally. The percentage appears once there is history to calculate it from.

• Nearby-home selection is your choice

  When enabled, the phone uses coarse location while the app is active to select a nearby home. Manual home switching remains available. Location is not sent as part of that selection.

• Credentials protected at setup

  Your hub receives its credentials during provisioning and keeps them in secure storage.

• Separate homes and accounts

  Access is scoped to the homes you belong to. ALYT tests these boundaries to help keep one household’s data separate from another’s.

• Protected access credentials

  Authentication tokens are stored as hashes. Resetting your password revokes existing sessions.

• Access ends when you remove someone

  Removing a person revokes their sessions. If that step fails, the removal does not complete.

• Backups checked through restoration

  Database backups are tested by restoring them into an isolated environment and checking the restored records.

• Cameras on your terms

  Live view is capped, a stored picture never wakes a camera, and watching never asks for the microphone.

• Closing an account

  One request with your password. A home nobody else is in goes with it; a shared home asks you to transfer ownership first.
