Connect GE Cync

Set up GE Cync

Open GE Cync from Integrations on the web, or from Settings then Integrations on iOS and Android. Read the availability and limits shown for this home before you continue.

1. Enter your Cync account email and Cync account password.
2. Choose Connect.Connect
3. When ALYT asks for the code that Cync emailed, enter that code.
4. Choose Continue.Continue

The password is used for sign-in and is not retained.

What you should see afterwards

After ALYT confirms the connection, the Cync tile should show the connected state for this home. You can then use Look for Cync devices when it is offered to refresh the list of discovered items.

Open a discovered device to check its reported state. A successful connection does not mean a device has already carried out a command.

Limits and recovery

• Cync uses its cloud and needs internet access.
• Use the code from the current sign-in attempt.
• Read the on-screen error before trying again.
• Do not create a second connection to investigate an unclear result.

If the connection does not work, correct the email, password, code, or network issue the error identifies, then try again. To remove the connection, choose Disconnect, read the consequence, and confirm the Disconnect action. Keep it leaves everything unchanged.
