Choose the service for the right home
Open the integrations area for the home you want to manage. On the web, open Integrations. On iPhone and Android, use Settings, then Integrations. Select the correct home before you open a service tile.
- Open Integrations on the web, or open Settings then Integrations on iPhone or Android.IntegrationsSettings
- Choose the correct home.
- Open the service tile you want to review.
Connect a service
Open the service tile and read its availability and requirements first. If the tile says Coming, that service cannot be connected on this deployment yet. If the tile offers Connect, Connect and look, a provider sign-in, or a separate TV/car settings link, the tile determines the next action.
- Open the service tile and review its availability and requirements.
- Follow the tile’s next action, such as Connect, Connect and look, a provider sign-in, or a separate TV/car settings link.Connect
- Enter only the fields requested on the trusted connect form. If a verification code is requested, complete that second step and then Continue.
After connecting
A successful provider sign-in returns you to ALYT. Check the result in the correct home. A connected service does not mean every physical device has already been discovered, so some devices may still appear later.
Maintain or disconnect a service
For a connected service, open the discovery action again if it is offered and you want to look for devices another time. If Settings is available for that service, authorized people can update the name or credentials. If the service is disconnected or expired, read its own error message and look for renewed provider authorization instead of creating repeated new connections.
- Open the connected instance’s discovery action if you want to look again where offered.
- Use Settings only if it is available for that service and you are authorized to update the name or credentials.Settings
- To remove the service, choose Disconnect and read the listed consequence before you confirm. If the choice is Keep it, cancel instead of continuing.Disconnect
What to expect after disconnecting
- A built-in hub integration may say Forget its devices, and those devices may need pairing again.
- Disconnecting a library does not delete music stored with its provider.
