Connect and manage integrations

Open the home's integrations

On the web, open Integrations. On iPhone and Android, open Settings, then Integrations. Choose the correct home before you make changes. The page shows connected services first, then services you can connect, and then services that are only described.

1. Open Integrations on the web, or Settings, then Integrations on iPhone and Android.IntegrationsSettings
2. Choose the home you want to manage if you have more than one.
3. Open the service tile you want to review.

Connect a service

The tile tells you which action is available. It may show Connect, Connect and look, a provider sign-in, or a separate TV or car settings link. Enter only the fields shown on that service's connect form. If a code or second step appears, complete it and continue until ALYT shows the result.

1. Open the service tile and read the promise, requirements, and connection method.
2. Choose Connect, Connect and look, or the provider sign-in shown for that service.Connect
3. Enter only the requested fields.
4. If a verification step appears, complete it and choose Continue.
5. Wait for the service to return to ALYT and show the connection result.

Manage a connected service

Connected services can be opened again from the Integrations page to look for devices or open their settings. If the service supports discovery, use the available action to look again. If it supports Settings, you can update the name or credentials without starting over. A service that is no longer valid may ask you to sign in again or provide new credentials.

1. Open the connected service tile.
2. Choose the available discovery action if you want it to look for devices again.
3. Choose Settings if you need to rename the connection or change its credentials.Settings
4. Save the changes if you make any.

Disconnect a service

Choose Disconnect when you want to stop a service from acting on your home. Read the consequence before you confirm. Keep it cancels the change. Some built-in hub services may show Forget its devices instead of Disconnect, which can mean the devices must be paired again later.

1. Open the connected service tile.
2. Choose Disconnect.Disconnect
3. Read the consequence shown in the confirmation.
4. Choose Disconnect again only if you want to end the connection.Disconnect

Troubleshooting

• If the page says the service is not in the catalogue on this platform, it cannot be connected from this build.
• If sign-in did not complete, open the service again and try the sign-in step once more.
• If a service says it cannot be read or connected, check that you chose the correct home.
• If a connected service stops answering, use its discovery or settings action if one is available, or disconnect and reconnect it only if you want to start over.
• If the service uses another app or a separate TV or car settings screen, finish setup there before returning to Integrations.
