Connect Ring

Open the Ring connection

Go to Integrations in web, or Settings then Integrations on iPhone and Android. Open Ring and check that it is available for this home before you start. The connection uses Ring’s cloud, so it needs internet access.

If you manage configuration with a partner or another support channel, use that path instead of trying to work around the current availability.

Enter your account details

1. Choose Connect.Connect
2. Enter your Ring account email and Ring account password.
3. Choose Continue if Ring asks for a verification code.Continue
4. Enter the code that Ring sent by text or email, then choose Continue again.Continue

What you should see afterwards

ALYT should confirm the connection and show the discovered Ring items in your home. Use Look for Ring devices if it is offered and you want to refresh the list. Open a camera or doorbell to review the state that Ring reports for it.

A successful connection does not mean every device action is available. Open each item to see the controls that Ring currently offers for that device.

Limits

• Ring requires internet access.
• Available camera features differ by camera and by surface.
• The normal phone notification still works whether announcement audio is on or off.
• The camera link remains available when Ring offers it for that device.
• This guide does not change the Doorbell announcement setting; if you use it, Announce throughout the home is on by default at 40% and can be turned off.

Troubleshooting and removal

If Ring shows an error, read the message and correct the field or network problem it names. Then try again. Do not create a second connection to test the same account.

If Ring asks for another verification step, choose Continue and enter the new code it sends. If you reach the connection form again, enter the Ring account email and Ring account password again.

To remove the connection, choose Disconnect, read the consequence, and confirm the Disconnect action that appears. Keep it cancels the removal.
