Connect UniFi

Before you connect

Open UniFi for the home you want to connect and read its availability and limits. Use the platform entry point for your app: on web, go to Integrations. On phone, go to Settings, then Integrations.

Set up the connection

1. In your local UniFi console, go to Network, then Settings, then Control Plane, then Integrations, then Create API key. Create the key there.
2. In ALYT, enter the Console address and API key. The Console address must use HTTPS.
3. If you want presence context, enter Phones that mean someone is home using the UniFi client names separated by commas. Put those selected phones on the home Wi-Fi during setup.
4. Choose Connect.Connect

Afterward

After ALYT confirms the connection, review the discovered items. If it is offered, use Look at the network to refresh the list. Open the matching device to check its reported state. A successful connection does not mean a device has carried out a command.

Troubleshooting

Read the specific on-screen error and correct the field or network it points to. If the result is unclear, do not create duplicate connections to test it. If you need to remove the connection, choose Disconnect, read the consequence, and confirm Disconnect. Keep it cancels without removing anything.

Keep passwords, tokens, and keys in the trusted connection form and do not include them in a support message.
