Connect WiZ

WebiPhoneAndroid

Use this guide to connect WiZ lights in your home, then review the discovered lights and their reported state.

Connect WiZ

WiZ connects from the local network. If your home uses a supported WiZ setup, you can discover lights without signing in to a separate account.

  1. Open WiZ.
  2. Review the availability and any limits shown for this home.
  3. Select Connect and look.Connect and look

What you should see afterwards

After ALYT confirms the connection, the discovered WiZ lights appear in the list. If the connector offers Look for lights, use it to refresh discovery. Open a discovered light to check its reported state.

  • The home stays selected while you work.
  • Discovered lights are shown as items you can open.
  • A successful connection does not mean a light has already changed state.

Limits

WiZ uses the local network. A hosted account alone does not make private Wi-Fi lights reachable. If your home does not have a supported local WiZ connection, use Support.

Troubleshooting and removal

If discovery fails, read the error shown on screen and correct the network or home selection it identifies. Try again after you fix the problem. Do not create duplicate connections to investigate an unclear result.

To remove WiZ, choose Disconnect, read the consequence, and confirm the named Disconnect action. Keep cancels without removing anything.
