Open the Doorbell announcement setting

1. Open the doorbell device.
2. Open More or Configuration, then Doorbell announcement.

Choose whether announcements play

1. Use Announce throughout the home to turn announcements on or off.
2. When it is on, a gentle chime plays and Simone announces the doorbell by name in eligible Sonos rooms in this home.
3. When it is off, the doorbell announcement does not play.

Set the announcement volume

1. If Announce throughout the home is on, adjust Announcement volume from 0% to 100%.
2. Select Save volume to keep the new volume.

What you should see afterwards

• Announce throughout the home shows its current on or off state.
• Announcement volume shows the saved level when announcements are on.
• The doorbell announcement card may show a saved volume even though playback still depends on connected Sonos rooms and quiet hours.

Troubleshooting

If the setting does not load, the app may show that the doorbell settings could not be loaded while it retries.

If you change the volume and do not save it, the new level is not kept.

If a saved preference does not seem audible in every room, check the room's speaker connection and quiet hours. Soundbar and bonded speakers count as one room playback target.

Turning off Doorbell announcement does not disable phone notifications, live view, or talk.

TV does not configure this setting.
