Sign in and recover your password

Sign in to your home account

Use this when you want to open your home account in ALYT. On the web, open the sign-in screen. On iPhone and Android, open ALYT.

1. Choose My home if the phone shows Sign-in type with My home and Partner work. Homeowners use My home. Partner work is separate and does not grant household access.
2. Enter Email or username.
3. Enter Password.
4. Select Sign in.Sign in
5. If Code from your authenticator appears, enter the current six-digit code and select Sign in again.Sign in

After a successful sign-in, you should be in your ALYT home account. On the phone, the authenticator field appears only when the service asks for it.

Recover a password

Use password recovery only from the sign-in screen.

1. Select Forgot your password? from sign-in. On the phone, this opens the web recovery page.
2. Enter the email associated with the account.
3. Select Send the reset link on the web recovery page.
4. Open the password-reset email and choose a new password that satisfies the checklist.
5. Return to ALYT and sign in with the new password.

If something fails

• Read the message that appears. It tells you what needs attention.
• Check your connection and the values you entered.
• If the recovery link expired, request a new one.
• Opening browser registration or recovery does not automatically sign the native phone app in.
• A failed or timed-out request is not proof that the service performed no action.
