Change your personal settings

Open Settings to review your account, adjust your name and preferences, manage linked services, and sign out on web, iPhone, or Android.

Open your personal settings

Open Settings. On web, use the settings page for your account. On iPhone and Android, open your avatar first and then choose Settings.

Change your name

  1. In Account, find Your name.
  2. Enter your given name in Your name and your family name in Your family name.
  3. Choose Save.

Change your theme

  1. In Preferences on web, choose Theme and select light, dark, or system.
  2. In Appearance on iPhone and Android, choose Theme and select Light, System, or Dark.

Change your units

  1. In Preferences on web, choose Units and select Metric: °C, km/h, m or Imperial: °F, mph, ft.
  2. In Appearance on iPhone and Android, choose Units and select Metric: °C, km or Imperial: °F, mi.
  3. On iPhone and Android, the app may show Following the home. Choose to keep your own before you change it. After you choose, it shows Your choice, everywhere you sign in.

Choose confirmation style

  1. On web, in Preferences, choose Confirmation.
  2. Select Spoken: “OK.” or A short sound.

Manage linked services

  1. Open Linked services.
  2. Review the services listed there before you act.
  3. Choose Unlink next to a service if you want to remove that service's authorization from your home.

Sign out

  1. Choose Sign out.Sign out
  2. If asked, confirm the choice.

What you should see afterwards

  • Your name or preference change remains in your personal settings.
  • Your theme choice applies on the platform and in the app view you changed.
  • Your units choice follows the setting shown on screen, including the home-following message on phones when that choice is active.
  • A service you unlink no longer stays authorized from your account.
  • Signing out returns you to sign-in on that device only.

Troubleshooting

If Save does not work, recheck the fields for Your name, Your family name, Theme, Units, or Confirmation and try again.

If linked services do not load, wait and open Linked services again before retrying Unlink.

If you do not see Settings on a phone, open your avatar first and then choose Settings.

If a phone asks for photo permission, allow access if you want to change your picture.
